Geneva airport is the closest to Samoens and there are a wide variety of airlines that fly into it from all over the UK and the world and if booked well in advance cheap fares can be found. easyjet, British Airways, Swiss Air, Fly Be, Air France and Flyglobespan are some of the airlines that fly here and www.ski-flights.com is a useful provider site.

We provide a transport service from the airport at 60 euros per person return, but if you would like to hire a car some companies that are based at Geneva are: Hertz, Eurocar, and Avis.

If you do wish to hire a car we recommend that you collect it from the Swiss side as this is the easiest way to get in and out of the airport. On leaving, follow signs for France, cross the border and then follow the A40 towards Chamonix. You will encounter 2 tolls totalling about 4 euros. Continue along the A40 until you get to Cluses, exit 18, (approx 30 mins). Follow signs to Samoens (approx 25 mins).
