The winter activities base themselves in the Grand Massif, reached by the cable car that is just 650m from Amaryllis. This domain covers 265km of pisted slopes and along side Samoens, includes Flaine, Morillion, Sixt and Les Carroz. Snow boarders are very well catered for in the numerous 'jam parks' available and there are over 90km of well maintained cross country pistes and 60km of marked tracks for snow shoeing through the local forests, so lots of activities to keep you busy! Amaryllis has a minibus and we are happy to provide drop off and pick ups from the lifts or any other pre-arranged location.
There are numerous other daily activites such as paragliding, ice climbing, alpine walking, dog sleighing, helicopter flights, ice skating, guided heritage tours...and many more! If you would rather stay in the town, there are numerous shops, cafes and bars to enjoy a warming coffee or vin chaud, a weekly market, and the beautiful alpine botanical garden (directly behind Amaryllis) to explore.
