Married in 2004, Victoria and Mark have made a dream reality by moving to the French Alps. Mark’s flair for cooking, Victoria’s love of entertaining and their shared passion for sports and the outdoors made this career change the perfect antidote.
Both previous international rowers, Mark has most recently been an integral part of the coaching team for the Cambridge University Boat Race Crews, Great Britian Under 23 and Junior teams. He will mainly be found in the kitchen creating sumptuous dishes from local produce, that will ensure his ‘Alpine athletes’ have maximum energy levels for the days activities! His passion for cuisine was born from his mothers influence and cultivated through various courses, most recently at the Rosemary Shrager Cookery School, Swinton Park.
Victoria has spent her career organising schedules, events, and publications primarily for HRH The Princess Royal and most recently for Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Victoria will take care of all the organisational side of your holiday so that once you arrive in Samoens you can truly switch off and enjoy yourselves. With her love of the countryside extending from all sports to the surrounding wildlife, Victoria will be able to advise you on any of the activities available and make sure you have the best time.
